Leveraging a full-service mulch colorant supplier is the best way to increase your margin dollars and sustain growth in today’s market. Amerimulch equipment, through the ColorTrom line of mulch coloring machinery, has taken the industry from auger and shovel paddle coloring to supreme machinery designed to outwork and outlast any other coloring equipment available.

The new ColorTrom 400 uses the lowest horsepower per cubic yard of mulch produced with state-of-the-art Marksman technology and produces upwards of 400 cubic yards using 49.5 horsepower (hp) compared to the competition at 222 hp. The low hp and high rate of production are a result of a low-friction, low-wear design. The high pressure, atomized colorant delivery system will apply a constant flow of colorant throughout the coloring process to produce a superior finish for your mulch product while using up to 50 percent less water than old-school equipment, as evidenced from actuals taken from machinery calibrations.

1. Production capacity is dependent on raw material bulk density and percentage of fines.
2. Water rates are directly dependent on particle size and fiber moisture content.

The ColorTrom line of equipment has water-conserving, colorant control technology with unmatched power savings and without the maintenance issues related to wear and tear experienced in other equipment available.

The dump-and-go, non-bridging hopper holds up to 20 cubic yards. The feed conveyor steadily and consistently carries wood fiber into the coloring trommel. Our innovative colorant and water spray delivery system dramatically reduces water usage per yard. With extended retention time, you can coat a wide range of sized fiber. Sit back and watch brilliantly colored mulch grow into mountains.
